What is are VIPs?
Vacuum Insulation Panels (VIPs) are a high performance insulation material made by taking a core material, encasing it in a barrier film, and vacuum sealing it at very low pressures. The panels that are made are capable of a thermal resistivity of about 36/in, which is six times more energy efficient than standard polyurethane foam.
